Lol, very generous of you. When are you heading down next? I'm planning on mid-october if the conditions shape up.

We are trying to put something together as we speak if we can get the weather and work to co-operate. I drop you a pm when we get it ironed out.

When I live in Arizona, I would drive to Florida 3-4 times a year. That was a long drive! About 36 hours on the road. We would break it up by staying with family in TX for a night or 2. We also stayed for 9-10 days for most trips. Now we live 10 minutes from some of the best caves in N. Florida. I suggest holding out until a job closer to Florida pops up.

So, if you come to Playa, Puerto Aventaurus, Akumal or Tulum and want to store you gear here between trips, this is a really great solution. I have some friends that store their stuff there now.

    Hans,

Do you have any idea what they charge per month?

I'd love to find a place to store a set of AL30's and whatever sorb I don't finish.........but I have to admit I'm a little reluctant to store my gear in a place that specialize in resale.

    Thanks

Default The drive from Massachusetts to Florida is OK, but the return drive sucks

I live in MA and, sadly, get to NFL only about 1.5 times a year. I flew the first time and it was a pain dealing with the airline weight limits. The last two times I have driven. I have a Mazda 5, which is sort of a microvan on a car chasis that gets almost 30 MPG. On the way down, I do one long drive day to get to my inlaws in Atlanta, then the next day an easy drive to NFL. On the way back, I sleep in the car at a rest stop in VA. It is a pain, but I can bring a diveshop's worth of gear with me and I have my own car. Audiobooks and Podcasts are key to getting through the drive.

    Good Luck,

    Joe,

I thought the same thing, but they have the space, the location is sucure and it actually works out pretty good. If you don't pay then they have a way of recouping the costs.

Solomon is an American and is a good guy. He is invested in the community and has other local businesses. Your stuff is safe there.

My understanding is that it is $20/month. However, I don't work there, so I would advise you to speak with him directly. If you would like to PM me your email address, I can have him contact you directly.
