Default Scubapro Mk25/ S555 brand new warranty

I have a gleaming, untouched, still in the box Mk25/ S555 regulator combination, complete with registration card and warranty card. (I have two of them, infact). The picture link is

    http://www.cavediver.net/forum/galle...p?i=8164&c=514

$395 and shipping is free (not overnight, of course)

Or would trade for a used quality drysuit that I could use as a spare (medium size to fit 5'7" and about 160lbs wet through).

I have a used one also which is setup for recreational scuba at the moment, it will be on ebay this evening and I was after $295 or trade for an Apeks DST or DS4 / TX40, TX50.

Am trying to rationalise my gear and let go of the excess.

    Many thanks. Paul

If it wasn't sold at an Authorized Dealer the warranty cards are worthless.

BTW, the warranty cards are non-transferrable.

...I have bought a wetsuit or a mask from them, BUT

Do you REALLY want to get LIFESUPPORT EQUIPMENT from LeisurePro?

There are reasons other than selling below MAP that they have been black listed by most of the industry.

I wouldn't trust their reg tech farther than I could throw him.

I wonder if LP honors parts for life, like an authorized SP dealer would? I'm also curious to what kind of turnaround for regulator servicing would be, especially considering the regulators have to ship there and back(additional owners expense).

I have my regs serviced by someone I know and trust, who is also a cave diver. I've never done any business with LP, so don't really have an opinion about them.

But it strikes me that to mail away my cave diving regs to be rebuilt by an anonymous tech employed by a company that makes a policy of being the lowest priced operation around might not be the best of all possible ideas.

Y'all are doing Paul a big favor keeping his post on top

What Morgan said reminded me of a joke about NASA. Roughly it said "It is troubling, sitting on a hugh rocket, that was built by the lowest bidder".
