lots of you may know this, but wayne kinard is a knot wizard. he did a little workshop at ginnie 2 years ago, very informative. anyway, i'd bet he'd be glad to help anyone learn.

and op, i know he keeps a repair kit on him with pre-melted pre-knotted ends (prolly others do too), but i don't have any ideas for how the original gold lines that frayed would end up melted, too.

Whenever I'm getting gas from Wayne's fill station, he spends some time showing Beth how to make cool knots. On the way home a few weeks ago, she made me a cool knotted keychain. Wayne is the Knotmaster.
