    Default Roubidoux and Cannonball conditions?

Can anyone fill me in on current conditions for these two caves? With the Beckster back home and recovering nicely I'm starting to think about cavediving again! I'm only about 3 hours south of Cannonball though and we have been getting a LOT of rain, so I'm not really expecting good news. What's the word? -Alan

The Cave Conditions page is still being udpated (as new info is submitted).
    http://www.cavediver.net/springs/spring_frm.htm

There is current info on Roubidoux

"Conditions as of 10/9/04: Very low flow compared to other dives in this cave. Vis was 15-20 feet in the upper tunnel. The staircase was clear with 25' visb. down to and including the lower tunnel. Easy kick back to arrow 13 in the lower tunnel."

    Default Thanks Fuzz

I noticed the conditions page but the weather here has been very, uh... "dynamic" here lately and I was hoping someone has dived Cannonball in the last week or so, or at least tried to.

AG wish I could help you out, but like you siad with what the weather is to be doing again this weekend up here can make it kind of hard to see what the spring will be doing. I have not been up in several weeks but have been keeping an eye on the weather and they have gotten a large amount of rain and I called a friend that lives up there and say that the conditions are not favorable for RBD right now. I will let you know whan i hear more.

Thanks Slim. I figured you would have a pretty good idea about what is going on up there. I bet if RBD is blown then conditions at Cannonball must be less than ideal too.

    Default Roubidoux

With the looks of the USGS site I would have to guess there would be there is no way Roubidoux is close to divable. Sure would be good to see it again.

Just dove Roubidoux today, vis was at least 20' and the flow was not even noticeable. Was at Cannonball 10-9-04 and it was great then, but I have no idea what the rain has done since then
