Is Teleford still only assesible by boat?

It isn't accessible by land, but you don't necessarily need a boat to get there.....several are swimming or scootering the river to get there....

...it's a 7-10 minute swim up-river from the ramp to the run.....the slog up the run in gear is tougher than the river swim......

did it a couple of weeks ago, and I am here to attest, the dive was worth the effort....

I can't remember Telford ever being not worth the effort. I have let that fence keep me out for too long now, maybe I will add that to the list for the next trip down...


PS Just so we all understand I meant, I will be swimming the river, not climbing a fence....

Any news on plans to reopen? Didn't I hear somewhere that the State may buy it and turn it into a park or something?

A nice cave system in the area of Peacock Springs. Pretty popular, but the owner of the land around the spring has denied access to anybody because of an incident a while past. A real shame.
