Hey brother, if that is what it would have taken to get you a bulb ..................you would have lost a friend that day. So where were you when my fuel pump left me hanging in Ashburn GA??? Seriously, it was a great dive !!!!! Any ideas on the next little adventure??? Another Fla cave or you wanna get back to beating the bushes in "our" area???

    Congrats TJ. Glad you persevered!
Thanks Andrew, I was really beginning to believe Murphy was running interference. He damn sure taught me a lesson in humility that day !!!! When is your next trip down to cave country???

Thanks for the congratulations. I really thought about the goal oriented dive rule, and I came to the realization that without goals, we all would be just wandering aimlessly through the caves with no plan other than to hit thirds and return alive, but then again thats a goal as well isn't it????

We found a lot of enjoyment in "learning" that section of cave. I think the group I am diving with all share the same mindset, we don't really want to run to the end of the line just so we can say we have been there. When you hear us say we have hit the EOL, better believe we have looked at everything that came before it !!! There is tons left to see at Ginnie, Peacock, Cow, Madison, Manatee, etc. Thankfully Marc, David and myself all want to see every inch of it !!!!
Agreed, without wanting to open the can of goal oriented worms, many if not all have a goal for a dive. Even if it is as benign as ' follow the line till we hit 3rds'. That top left section is also one area where I am going often and find more and more sections 'new' to me. I love exploring there.

Thats a great area back there....lots of things to see....and IMHO the passages are a little more challenging and force you to be "on the mark" with buoyancy and technique......no room for sloppiness in some of those passages....the last leg of the Ice Room swim is a prime example !!!

Yes, and with Skid Row nearby, that someone else could provide a siltout for your dive.

I'm back in September, around 2-12 roughly, and primarily diving Ginnie. See you there!
