    Well , you know
I could always clean the walls with a good Flutter kick ...

Seriously , the walls are stained from the flood. It's VERY Evident in the Challenge to Peanut Restriction section.
Now it's just a darker Peacock for a while.

Did the OB Tunnel Monday Morning. Wasn't bad at all.
Maybe I am just used to the darker conditions in there (Peacock)

A lot of things can make the same pic look different due to f stops, TTL settings, and flash fill etc...

The camera was sent on the point and shoot mode, but the strobe may have been higher on one of the pics.

Got it. There was no criticism implied. The problem with point and shoot is the camera's onboard computer determines f stops and speed depending on subject reflectivity etc..

The caves are darker (Peacock is one of the most common examples) but the objective way would be to have a picture shot with exactly the same settings.

Thanks for the reply. Dive safe,

    Celia

PS Those are pretty good shots of Jean

They were just like that a few years ago (remember "the great flood" when the water was up 6 ft in the parking lot?) the whole cave was dark, and I don't mean the walls only, felt like you were diving in a huge cave because you could not see the walls (they were dark and so was the water) and my HID looked like a dying halogen 5 ft away...

I kind of like the changing of conditions, makes for interesting photography. I like the contrast Ed, thanks for posting those. Here is a shot from LR 2 or 3 years ago when just after it was siphoning....dark walls!
