I'm tired of hauling my wifes doubles.
It's time to see how she feels about side-mounting.
At 5'4" and 120lbs it looks like she'll need a medium rig based on the sizing chart on DRE.
If you've got one that's gathering dust please let me know.

I am the same height but I am a macho MALE Marine..... and have problems on side mount
I have a problem with the tanks hitting my thighs using steel 85's which everyone else drools over. Just bought steel 80's but haven't tried them.
Don't be in a rush to get her into side mount. And don't listen to anyone unless they are short. It does make a big difference and your wife deserves the best
Good luck.
I will try to remember to email you when I try the 80's.

Where do you have the cam band on the tank? You may have it to high. Positioning of the cam bands, the length of the leash on the clip, the type of clip are all very important to how the tanks ride. They are also co-dependant; having one out of place screws everything up.

Well isn't she lucky. I was tired of hauling my doubles around (104s). So as soon as I got the chance we found some smaller tanks and I changed over to side mount. So far I have carried my tanks one at a time. (Keep forgetting to bring dolly) But it is so much better than doing the turtle walk back to the tables.
Oh and by the way 5' 6" 130lbs.
Maybe she can have a chance to demo some one's equipment. I did a demo at the Dive Rite Demo days at JB not long ago. You either like or you don't. SM is all about adjusting to one's self. Just because I wear the tanks on the side doesn't mean you'll find me squeezing through a small hole.
