Default Want to be Cavern Diver in MO.

Hello everyone my name is Ian. I am 16 years old and want to be a cavern/cave diver. I live in Kansas City, Mo. I was wondering if there are any good caves around this part that would be good for someone like me. Thank you for your help.

Yes, I believe this was the original purpose of the CDF - not just exchanging links to videos of irritated IT workers...

Slim sorry I have not gotten back with you over the email. I am still trying to convince my dad that with the proper training and equipment cave diving is fun and safe. Hopefully we can still go diving and make this work out.

You might do better to try "fun with managed risk". Cave diving is not safe. It is very much fun, and if you have the discipline to stay within your skill level and training the risk can be managed.

Not a problem, even if we had to get some time in OW and you bring dad along so that he ca see how I teach, that might change his mind. Remember it is only a step at a time.
