Did OG today at around noon.
Basin vis is approx 10 ft or so.
Once on mainline viz was 80+. We only did about approx 1000ft today due to head cold, etc..

Vis at the front maybe 30 ft or a little more and sort of hazy. The further back into the system the clearer it got as we went towards Henley. This was last Thursday. Not bad for P3 but I doubt very many people had been in the system as the lines were still covered in stuff in most places.

Strangely, even though the peanut line was nice and clear, the Nicholson tunnel was very dark. It was like the water sucked up my light. I was surprised how clear the peanut, crossover and crypt were after entering through the muck in the basin. It was clear that everyone else diving last Saturday knew where the good vis was, pretty much everyone was on the peanut side.

Did p1 on Friday,[pothole line] cavern is looking alot better.Probably 30ft vis, cave was similar in places, not so good in others,10ft in certain areas.O.G was excellent.O.W was clear from one end to the other.Cavern was perfectly clear as far as your light would shine.Same for the cave.My ole buddy is back to normal.A little flow coming out was nice,I think we were the only ones that went in Friday. One drawback, hand prints and marks in the mud are just inexcusable for trained cavedivers.
Dove Peacock today. In P1 - Peanut was crystal clear. Pothole was ok but some spots were a bit murky. Orange grove was also very clear. Overall, very enjoyable!!
Dove Peacock on 7/15/08. Basin is very bad but after in cavern zone it clears up and peanut has 40+ viz, crossover and mainline very good as well.
We did the Cisteen / Nicholson circuit last weekend. LOT's of tanic/river intrusion water where Nicholson meets Cisteen. Glad I wasn't just imaging it ( lol )
I would suspect the vis gets more tanic the father-up you go up on the Cisteen line too. (it was that way before the flood/ciphoning anyway). There were parts in the Wishbone circuit that was totally greenish (EEK) .

We did pothole line yestarday at 3:30
Vis in basin was less then 6 inches.
We were the only ones there so can not blame the lack of viz on too many peeps in the water
Once inside the cavern viz improved to about 30 feet or so.
On the main line viz was at around 60 feet.
On the way out, we could only see a slight orange light that should have been the sun. we could not even see this until we got to around 8 foot...
Guess we're lucky we tied off at the stairs--

Waterhole was beautiful last weekend. As clear as it gets.
