NACD Cannonball Clean-up

6th ANNUAL NACD CLEAN UP AT CANNONBALL CAVE

We will have our Annual NACD sponsored clean up at
Cannonball Cave (Davidson's Blue Spring), on
Wappapello Lake, Greenville, MO on Saturday 9 August
2008. Starting time will be 09:00.

Trash will be picked up on the hill above the spring
and in the lake outside the cave.

There will be water and soft drinks available to those
who take part as well as bug spray and a john boat for
transporting you and your gear to the spring.

We'll also have either sandwiches or dinner at the
Fishin' Hole (depending on how hot it is). There will
be drawings for prizes, including some Walmart Gift
Cards with photos of Cannonball Cave, and NACD, as in
the past, will include some very nice giveways.

There will be a small gift for everyone.

Anyone interested in doing a little summer cleaning at
this lovely site is welcome. You do not have to be a
diver to take part in the clean up and the drawings
will be for everyone.

Aug 9 to 16 Th is the the NSS national convention in Lake City Fl. We may do better not to have both events on same day

I had noticed that also unless it is for those of us that can't make it to FL we can still have a NACD function at the same time.

I did not set up the clean-up nor was I asked about when to have it. Since I knew about it, thought I'd post it. I left off contact info for the local organizer cause it didn't seem right giving out his personal info without asking. but if you pm me i'm sure it's ok to send it to you.

I do not think any conflict was intended, but as slim said, something for those to do who can't make it to florida. I know my trips to florida have been curtailed due to high gas costs (and the increase in food prices too). I won't be at the clean-up for the same reason - it's about as far to cannonball as lake city for me!
