Default See you at the Workshop!

One thing that frustrates me about the Forum is that I "know" many people by their screen names, but I can't put a face to the name. On many occasions I have seen strangers at dive sites, only to learn after I got home that it was someone that I "know" from the Forum (followed by a "That was you?" PM).

I plan to be at just about everything at this year's Workshop, from the picnic Friday night to diving JB on Monday. If you see me and talk to me, remind me who you are on the Forum.

In my drysuit, I look just like my avatar. In street clothes, however, I don't, as I am inclined to cover my bald head with a cap. So I expect I'll be wearing some iteration of NSS-CDS shirt (from a past workshop or Dive-In) and a Cave Diver's Forum cap.

    See you there!

    From the NOAA weather center:

Chance of isolated sprinkles - 80% after dark

It's bad luck to be superstitious.

This will be my first CDS "event" and I look forward to meeting everyone and hopefully getting in a dive or two with some new folks also. Sadly I can only make it on Sat. and Sun. due to the need for some family time also.

The kids are young though so I'll groom them as dive buddies when they get older. My 3 year old was watching a cave diving video with me the other day and informed me that "when she is big she is going to go cave diving with Daddy", I'm sure her mother will love to hear that one.

Jason I look forward to meeting the better half of your clan

Just an FYI, Marianna is in Central Time Zone. I have talked to two different people today that have to meet people at a certain time, and they were both unaware that they have an extra hour to work with.

How does one get a Cave Diver's Forum cap

The human mind is like a TV set. When it goes blank, it's a good idea to turn off the sound.

    Red face Hi

Yeah I met you at Dive Rite Demo days. My husband and I were there in a white Toyota truck. We were sucked into the SM world. This time though we have our dry suits repaired!
We will be coming in late on Friday so will miss the campfire. But will be around for the rest. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

I was handed one several years after I became a moderator.

We used to have a page that sold CDF shirts, etc., but I can't find it; maybe it is gone, or maybe it never was. That's something for us to consider. I don't know if we'd sell enough to justify having a bunch of hats made.

I'll talk to TJ this weekend.
