Speaking of Madison, where can I get a copy of that cool new map that is posted in the park? I have searched the threads and found one where someone is talking about it, but couldn't find the answer I was seeking. I looked on the NSS-CDS site, but it appears as if the version they are selling is the older version I already have.

They have both. Look for the "New version, with Courtyard" in the map description.

    Default Madison 6/25

We dived Madison on 6/25 and found conditions to be excellent. Viz. in 70-80' range in main tunnel and seemed a little clearer after the Martz jump. Flow is moderate. My buddy checked out the Cross Under Tunnel and reported that it was passable in SM, but quite tight in a couple of places that have filled in with sand.

I hear the crossunder tunnel is too tight for a rebreather....

    Default Too tight

I heard the same about that and heard it was a rough time/close call for a diver. I did it in backmount recently after the breather diver. but it is tight in a few places and sidemount might be better. The line was broken in one place and my buddy did a repair. We went about 2/3 of the way up to the half way point going towards the Court Yard. We wanted to check out the line conditions and sand after the first problem.

It was so crowded today it wasn't even funny. We got there took a quick look and called it.
There were at least 8 teams in the cave and more waiting their turn...

The water in the basin looked extremely inviting though....flow is up and so is viz (from what I could see in the basin, no telling what it looked inside with that crowd of divers...<G>)

    Dive safe,

Celia, nice seeing you out there as always

Vis was great, we just did the Godzilla Circuit and left, never got to a stretch of realestate that we couldn't see the far wall, so couldn't give exact visibility reports, but I'd say 60-70'ish easily.

We lucked out and caught Daedalus and his buddy on the way out and grabbed thier spot to dive. Always nice to meet the people behind all these posts I get to read about

FWIW - Little River had a bit of flow(nothing to get over exerted about) and clear(green tinted) 20-25' visibility with particulate. Always a fun dive. Went to Peacock as well, Peanut line was really clear with 50' or better, Pothole a little less with around 30'ish visibility and particulate.
