Spool lost in Little River

And the stock spools are useless anyway in 36-50 degree waters we have up here with the small aperature hole in the center you can't get a finger with 2 layers of glove through...

I remember seeing somebody here offering 'cold water spools' that they built a while back. There seemed to be a fair amount of interest in them at the time, but I don't know if that all panned out or not. Maybe somebody here that has one, or remembers who built them, can chime in.

If your message was to me, then....no, that's definitely not what I was referring to. The spools I was referring to were a bit larger than normal, and had much larger holes in them for use with gloves.

Well this guy says he will build them bigger and to what ever specks you like them to be in but the price will change of course. But I think they would hold up to cold water if the hold up to the treatment he is putting them through.
