We dove Little River on Saturday 04/26. Tanic water through out the system. We made it just short of the 2nd TEE up the Serpentine tunnel. I could see the line for the Harper tunnel with not too much effort. Both lines of the Mud Tunnel were visable too. I would say 20-30 feet of viz but still a little bit dark. Pockets of silt on the rocks. Depth on the top of Table Rock was 100'. Flow was up (had to do a bit of pulling to get to the chimney) but once past the chimney it wasn't too bad. Lots of sticks and stuff piled in the side holes.

All in all , not to bad

    Thanks!

    Default LR on 5/1

I dove LR this morning and found the flow to be the high and the viz. to be in the 30' - 40' range. There is some slack in the mainline a couple of places, but otherwise in good shape as far as I went. As others have mentioned, there is lots of silt on the sides and I am sure in the secondary passages as well.

Congrats to the students in there today, as these are not the most benign conditions for trainining. From what I could see, you performed quite well.

Dove Little River yesterday afternoon, we got there at about 5:30 so we had to rush to get in the water to be out by the 7:00 close time. Well that is the fastest the i have gotten ready to dive. We went down to the water at about 6:05 so we figured about 20 min. in and it should be a fast ride out. We made it to about half way up the serpentine when time hit 20 min. Turned and exited. No prob. Viz. poor 15-20 ft. Flow was up but not like old LR. Great dive, another week should clear up more.

Was in LR today. Looking really dirty, bunch of silt washed in to the cave. Found a unopened Natural Light around 40 feet. Born on 01/06/06. Very different look than normal. Flow is up compared to recent normal flow. Still the flow is not too bad. Loads of river water coming into the system at the back of the Florida room. Causing some visibility issues.

On a different note. Diving CCR today. The power boats on the river are loud!!! Nuts hearing boats running the river the whole dive.

    Cheers!!

Not if we dive behind the big guy in the Bare suit who's blocking all that flow...
