    Default PSSP road work

Janet - How's the road repair coming along? Are they on schedule?

It's bad luck to be superstitious.

I'm still alive and well. The road work didn't get started last week for some reason, I'll call Richard today to see if it has started, work is to be completed by May 1. I'll let you know.

PS The viz at P1 was not good enough to open the system back up yet last Friday.

Is it improving, or at a standstill?

I went to work today, there is no road work being done yet, I'm not sure what the hold up is, it is the construction specialist not park management who is running this project. I used the leaf blower to clean steps up today and at Orange Grove I could see down about 10 or 12 feet, the water is free of particles and looks better than P1, but it is green. At P1 you can see to the bottom, there is only 3 steps left under water but it is a very dark green color, it is not clear enough to be opened for diving yet. I assume John O is checking the conditions out on a regular basis, but we cannot reopen until the road is completed. I went into bonnet today, no big reptiles laying about, no mosquitos either.
I did save a baby duck at Orange Grove today a hawk was trying to take one of the two baby ducks so I chased the hawk away, since there was only two baby ducks I figure the hawks has already had a few duck meals, there is usually at least 6 or 7 baby ducks following the big ones around.
    Safe diving,
    Janet

Hmmm... we are planning to go may 3/4, Kinda hoping we would be able to dive peacock on that weekend. I mean we can go elsewhere but it would be nice to go back in there, it feels much more like home.

The road work is to start next week, after a day or two they will have a better idea of how many days it will take to complete the work, the park will remain closed until the road work is completed.
