Thats right there Beano, and that is already several more then we have up here right now. Just waiting for the waters to go down and the rain to stop for a week or 2. One day soon we will be betting back into them and I bet bye the time we get in them,(maybe if we are lucky) you all will be back in PSSP. Hmmm gives me an idea, lets see who gets in first.

    Hi kids,
The road work is really progressing, the big depression by OG is gone as are the big dips along the road, there is still some work to be done as soon as we are told to open we'll pass it along.
One problem is the P1 sink, full of slime which I started to remove but there is a lot more to go. I thought of swimming it with Ron from Dive Outpost to remove it but that ain't going to happen, the water is ugly-it is a face the steps, deflate and when you see the clear water swim time. The water is very dark green, I feel when everyone is in deco your bubbles will help to clear us out, there is only one step left underwater now. I'd be sure to have your mask on when getting into the water. Orange gove sink looks great-except for the duckweed but that duckweed is why it doesn't look like P1.
Hope to see you all soon.

Nothing wrong with Cow , Little River or Madison while waiting for Peacock to open anyway.
At least not in my opinion.

    Janet,
Thanks for the updates, I really appreciate getting info about Peacock from "the source" . I was wondering if you know whether Peacock will be open by June 9th?

Spoke to the contractor on the phone yesterday and i was told directly from him that he still has at least 2 weeks left of work to complete and the state will not open PSSP up till the work is complete. He also explained they only works on it 3 days a week and is doing the best he can especially with all the other jobs the state has him doing. So it appears it will not be open for the holiday weekend and actually sounds like through the rest of this month. Which really Sucks because as i am writing this i am sitting at the airport waiting for my flight down to FL to dive till the 27th...so this week will have to be some other systems other PSSP......dive plan change! lol
While I am there i will scope things out and post some pics if i can.
    Be safe

It is open, We found out the day we arrived, Conditions are not the best, Orange upper and lower are not bad 30-40Ft, Basen sucks 10ft, P1 ....YUCK...looks like it's connected to the porta-john! almost black water in the basen, 15-20max in the system
P3 was not too good but not bad enough not to dive, Went all the way to the castle and had 20Ft viz, and the line is covered in moss and stuff and muck from the flood, We attempted to clean some off on the way out but it's alot of stuff but most of the arrows are clear. I recommend P3 for someone that has been there before and is confortable in poor conditions. But there is flow from P2 to P3 and P3 to the river so in a few weeks conditions should improve. As for the Road....doesn't look like they did a whole lot, especially for over 4 weeks....
little river is good, with moderiate flow and a green tint.
    Be safe all
    Doug
