There are a lot of wild turkey at PSSP, the biggest flock I ever saw was a few months ago while walking into Bonnet Spring, well over 50 of them. They were rooting around in the leaves on the road and I counted over 30 of them they then spotted me & they started running, flying-turkey were everywhere. When I got to the spring there were more birds roosted in the trees, yes they flew away also. Three were at P3 right after the river started to come into the park a few weeks ago. Thank heavens there is a no hunting rule in the park.

'as god is my witness, i thought turkeys could fly...'
say that to my daddy & he'll laugh until he cries. that was a funny show.
proud cave tourist!
Is there any new news on PSSP have any of the sinks or springs began to clear??
I was down there yesterday. Five steps underwater at P1. Very dark, I could see the last step U/W but barely. The sun was still low, may be able to see further down if the sun where higher. No boil/movement with the water.
Stopped at OG, no holes in the duckweed above lower or upper OG indicating...no flow.
It's bad luck to be superstitious.
Peacock will have diveable conditions on 4/16 you heard it here first.
