The old Great Outdoors allowed BYOB on Sunday. Because of High Springs being a dry town. Any one know if they are still doing this?
Cheers!!

High Springs is a dry town?? I'm surprised I'm not in in jail by now....
The new Great Outdoors has a full bar called the "Spring House" there are cave diving photos all over the place. I checked out the band and they had cave diving videos playing. The dinner was less than $50 for two with ice cream and drinks. About the same as Floyd's. The food was a little salty so watch your blood pressure...I am anxious to try it for lunch some time soon. I bet the lines go down soon.
Another great place that is new for food is on the main street in downtown Alachua, it's call the Ivy House. It does not have a bar but does beer and wine. The food and dessert are fantastic and lots of fancy coffee. The place is in an old remodeled house, it's very cool. Cindy Butler
