We had a team dive it last night [Sun. 2/24] and said it was beautiful. They came back for the key today and returned 1/2 hour later...basin tannic but not "gone".
The river is rising and will continue to for the next couple days at least.

It's bad luck to be superstitious.
Mike, please stop bringing bad news. I'm considering coming down this weekend but the hecatomb has started... LR, Cow,
Well I guess I will make good use of my Ginnie pass in the next couple months.

Pass is $330 + tax. Basically, equivalent to 15 times the full cave rate of $22/day. It is good for a year from the purchase date. You get a little card with your pic. Show that to the people inside, you get a bracelet + car hang tag and are on your way. No paperwork. When there is a lot of people, they usually will go ahead and take care of pass holder first since it takes 2 sec for them. Even if you were to not break even, it would be worth it just for the speedy check-in process and late night access.

HEY!
I already left two cases of beer at the outpost...somebody drank them so I think we're even.
I was stupid/crazy enough to try to dive cow tonight...it is NOT diveable. The water in the first 5-8 feet of depth was 3-5 feet of viz. Deeper than that the water got very cold and very dark. 6 inches to a foot of viz. James managed to make a primary and secondary tie-off but going into the cave seemed like suicide. Oh well, guess I'll be making good use of my Ginnie pass like everyone else.

Just think, with all reain yall are getten down there, it wil lhelp to recharge the aquifer and in the long run be great to dive.
Just think that before this was the time that everyone would work on gear. With all the cave divers out now, they need time to get recharged from all the water teh companies are taking out.
Just give it time, you all will be back to normal or atleast close to it soon.
