Default "Dirty Jobs" in a cave.

I am posting this for DeWayne

    ---------------------
I received a notice from the ACCA announcing the airing of our “Dirty Jobs” episode on the Discovery Channel. The air dates are set for January 22, 2008 @ 8:00pm cst, January 23 @ 12:00 noon cst, and January 26 @ 11:00am cst. The show will feature Mike Rowe and the Discovery channel’s Dirty Job team as they explore Hidden river Cave in Horse Cave, KY with members of the ACCA.

Originally, this episode was supposed to be filmed as part of the Saltpeter pit cleanup in Pulaski County (the project we have been working on for the past two years) but the timing did not work out. Mike decided to stay in Alaska on an extended vacation following filming there (we heard such things as he felt overworked, underappreciated, and his contract was up for renewal.) By the time he was able to finally come to KY, we had to cease operations at Saltpeter pit for the season due to the bats hibernation cycle.

I was not in this segment. I have not heard much about what they did on film, but it should be a good segment if Chris, and the other ACCA staff put him through what they wanted.

Awww....Mike Rowe's fans love him! Just like the Survivorman guy. FWIW I don't think the Man vs. Wild shows are nearly as good or authentic.
