    Default cave damage

Much damage to the cave at Vortex Springs began in the 60's. But in the 60's it was assumed or thought it would probably wash off or go away or "something".

    Education may indeed reduce graffiti.

I'd focus on educating the people who might see the morons. Make sure everyone knows it is illegal and how to report it.

Of course there was a yahoo sheriff who dynamited Morrison to protect us from ourselves and caused very permanent damage to the system. But then that was OK, it was big brother protecting us.
