Weeki Wachee is already open to the public for diving. The cave system however is currently permit only.

I was thinking about taking my daughter there, but $80 each!?! Man, am I spoiled with $80 a year for a family state park pass and $25 a year for the management area pass and several other sites are totally free!

Try giving Bert Wilcher a call (813.989.3483) at Tampa Adventure Sports. He runs trips there and I think the cost is much lower for the group rate.
