Texas A&M has something like that. The students get cave training as part of the course![]()

I'm a graduate of the A&M program, you get cavern training as part of a class called "methods in research diving" during a 2.5 week field trip to florida after the spring semester. The same instructor also teaches a course called biospeleology which is all about dry caving, no chance for cave dives. But A&M doesn't have an undergrad major in anything speleo. If you are looking for a grad program, dr. Iliffe is the professor who teaches both of those classes and all his grad students are certified cave divers (he certifies his students) carrying out research in various aspects of cave biology.
