So how often do you apply security patches?

Linux can be patched every single day and never need to be rebooted
One reason windows=winblowz.. It's not as dynamic as linux.

I have a cron job that runs as 4:02am every single night and applies the patches for xyz app that's running. Server never needs to be rebooted.

It auto downloads from
https://www.redhat.com/rhn/
and applies it and continues on it's merry-way
