Public statement from the NSS-CDS

I made the initial post augmenting the reward amount and others who followed did so for no other reason than to do a service to the cave community.

I would hope anyone who knew anything would not need $1000 to report it. I think the CDS got things going in the right direction with the first $1000 I'd almost hate to think that another $1000 or $2000 would make the difference that got him turned in but the involvement and vehemence is heartwarming.

it is necessary that signs be posted or the reward otherwise advertised and not just within the cave diving community, but also aimed at local scuba clubs and the nondiving public.

I think this is a great idea. Can we post an ad in the PADI magazine (or whatever most divers read) stating that there is a reward for this guy?
