    Don't be so sure

    I've thought the same thing.

We have one natural spring that's divable in Wisconsin. About 550' is explored and mapped by a friend of mine. All 550' is no mount only, and it's an absolute BLAST.

Ya go from backmount, to sidemount just to be able to check out some of those smaller caves, next thing you know you are turning your head sideways because your skull won't fit through a restriction otherwise, especially with a big old regulator in your mouth..hehe. It's all fun

Everyone spends the first nine months of life in water. The lucky ones make frequent return visits.

I REALLY hope that this a joke, and not how you normally run your dives. I'd expect any caver that is capable of surviving this tunnel to have enough respect for the cave that they would never consider 'throwing' their tanks around - especially in this tunnel where there is so much geothite etc.

Do you have to wear these with your sidemount gear?

You DID spot the negative part of the suppositional clause, right?

    Good grief.

It's an expression stating that I HAD TO BE CAREFUL, the exact opposite of what you somehow converted it to.

So... it IS how I normally run my dives. I DON'T throw my tanks around.

I am damn sure I won't be turning my head sideways to fit anywhere. Too many large tunnels to go down instead.

Yeah, but the little ones are FUN!

I'm thinking of videoing it the next time I do it. In part to irritate Gary. I just got a nice new smaller enclosure which weighs half of my old setup - perfect for this foray

What worries me about the Fuzzy Bunny tunnel is not so much the squeeze (that is bad enough), what bothers me is that the rock is often 'rotten'. Breaks easily and as Gary mentioned moves/falls easily. I've entered both ends but never completed the run. Stuff is just too rotten for me.
