Tj, Tommy, Chris and I dived Buford this past Sunday....Visibility in the cavern was absolutely perfect, 100+ feet!
The swamp on the way there was slightly wet, as it had been raining a lot there over the past week...one foot of water in most places, three feet of mud in othersTommy managed to find every hole, despite all good efforts to follow TJ carefully across the swamp
Also beware of the mosquitoes, despite us traveling through the swamp in full wetsuit gear (booties, hood and suits), they still managed to get the better of us...I have 32 bug bites for my efforts.....most on my face.....We were forced to wear even our MASKS on they way back out to avoid the little critters.....
Mostly beware of the hunters. It is bow season. Almost all the trams (trails) had trucks parked in them, meaning a hunter was sitting and waiting for game to come by... we were lucky there wasn't a hunter parked there.
Overall, a great day's diving, but for the time being will be waiting for a nice cold spell to kill off the critters and hunting season is over, before I venture out there again
