Default Story on Blue Springs State Park

    http://www.beacononlinenews.com/dail...hp?itemnum=200

I have no comments. I'm just sharing a story that pertains to and should be of concern to cave divers.

The ultimate result of shielding men from the effects of folly is to fill the world with fools.

    Default Three Monkeys

One day they will catch those three monkeys running around the SJWRMD
You know See No Evil, Hear No Evil and Speak No Evil...... Last time I saw them they were in front of Rachel's Adult Club in Casselberry but I guess they were just taking a break...

Hey , thanks for the link to the story.
Blue Springs was the 1st spring I dove in after moving to Fl in 2005. It has a special place in my heart.

Let's see, with the ad valorem tax reformation and the rollback rates with local government's strapped for cash, laying off folks, and cutting back on services................hmmmmmmmmmmmm develop, develop, develop, sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I pray to God that folks have the forsight for the future of our underground aquifer, the future of a number 1 magnitude spring, and that our children can enjoy everything that Blue Springs has to offer. We need to be concerned.

Stop sounding like a bunch of tree hugging Al Gore lovers.
Throw in a Walmart, a refinery, 500 condos and a pesticide
    factory and we're set.

Jobs, revenue and pie in the sky for everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Where does it end?

    Default Will Blue Spgs recover-?

This graphic of Blue Spg is upsetting to me. I draw back to the limestone mining operations just outside of Branford off of Hwy 27, which has been an eyesore for years and has long been a needle in our sides with regards to our favorite springs. At this time I am wondering if Blue Spgs will recover it's pristene conditions as winter weather & Manatees return once again-? Florida was France's chosen territory, & it is no wonder why-!
So what is the answer for saving our life supporting waters-?

Default This may sound harsh but

I know what will get the Monkeys head out of their A$$es. If one manatee croaks out there by the spring or the whole group stays away because the water $uck$.
