    Default Jackson Blue hours

Dove JB yesterday (Tuesday), the park is now closed to swimmers except on weekends and holidays through Sep '07. If they don't get enough swimmers in this time frame to warrant opening, it will close earlier but not before Labor Day. Oct 1 it will be closed to swimmers until Memorial Day '08.

Possibly stupid question: Does this include divers? (Never been to JB but my wife and I would like to dive it soon).

PS: Thank you for taking the time to educate my wife and me on Madison Blue a couple of weeks ago.

No, cave divers are allowed year round 24 hours daily, with a rare closure to everyone occuring when some water testing is being conducted. You only need to sign in and out of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office with an ID and cave training certification. Daily cost is $25, exact cash amount only. An annual cave diving pass can be obtained for $150 per diver.

You're quite welcome, I'm sure Jackson Blue will be a great dive for y'all as well.

Cave divers get access 24/7. Go to the sheriffs office, sign in and get a key to the gate.
For any help with anything cave diving related in the Jackson area, call Edd Sorenson at Cave Adventurers.
