OK .. Who's dived Emerald VERY recently?

I need a vis report. Got reservations to dive Emerald next weekend. Kelly said lots of rain has dropped on Tally and reports he's gotten weren't favorable.

Is there really any good way to tell if it's divable from the surface? I know once Kelly and I dove it when the surface looked less than appealing, but 20 ft down it was clear as a bell. Is it just one of those systems you gotta go down and take a look????

Tally has always had a history of blowing out easily. If the basin shows a algae bloom then it probably is okay,but if you look at Cheryl and Emerald and they are tannic,then expect a less than optimal dive.
