    Default a new Karst window-!

    *~*
today, while cruising one of our local rivers in a kayak i came over a patch of crystal blue water & white sand, flushing into the tanic waterway that I was paddling on. I followed the clear blue water inward, and came upon a large pool some 500 ' in circumfrence. From the vent, there were thousands of small fish just inside the entrance. The mouths of both entrances were clean & un-scared-! There appeared to be a spring vent & a syphon nearby. I had no dive gear with me, but I managed to get several photos, which I'll submit if you like. I have a few of these so called 'finds' & really don't particularly wish to broadcast them. But, this one does excite me to the point of bringing my gear out of the closet. Now all I need to do is find a couple of trust worty buddies-?
This 'window' has probably got a name, but I've not confirmed it yet. I'm not going to make the mistake of publicising someones private property again, but this is different. It is on public land-!
Let's see, FW & maybe JH, or even TM might be interested here-!

Hmmm.....a headspring that is approximately 160' across...with clean water...and it's "new"? Sounds fishy to me. Hmmm....his first post, too.
