always ready to dive
Are you asking if the arrows say "main line", "bone room", "mainland", "hill 400", etc? If so, they are not.
Yup Walter is right on this one, distance is the only thing labeled. What part of the cave are you interested in??? There are several areas that have identifying features.

That would take all the fun out of getting lost in there...![]()
The bats are about the most obvious marker... there are also a few memorial plaques, or rock pyramids, and occasional bone remnants... but the best thing is getting to know the topology of the different parts. They're wildly different. it's one of my favourite thing about Ginnie, is just how different the various areas are.
A nice part of NOT marking the various lines is the real sense of achievement when you make a room that's navigaionally complex such as the Ice Room.

You could progressively penetrate the cave and learn the cave as you go... Sure, it will take a good amount of dives, but then again isn't that what cavediving is all about?Originally Posted by deepdiver4

Id like to see names of passages on line arrows.Especially in Ginnie where admission is kinda high.Itll cost alot of money to learn it by trial and error. If I lived closer Id get an annual pass,or if it were only 80.00 like the state parks.
