    Default Safety stop depth

Do most of you make your safety stop at 15 or 20ft?I was trained at 20,but 15 is on the deco tables[32%]till you hit multiple stops.

    Default Stops

Yes somewhere in that range based on what is the most comfortable place. Where the Log has settled. Where some OW diver is not going to land on top of me Etc. Etc.

My VR is set to last stop 20ft of course the DR Duo wants to to be at 10 soo I guess I nees to change the VR.

I agree with Curtshu. Where there's a comfortable place. Most of the time for simple deco, I stay at 20 ft. My dive computer does the last stop at 10 ft. I usually just stay at 20 till it's done to get the most benefit from the higher partial pressure. Also, just because I'm lazy and don't feel like moving again if I found a comfortable spot.

But when you are talking about trimix diving, etc . . where you got long decos, you will find that the 10 ft stop will slow the rate of oxygen exposure accumulation as compared to staying at 20 ft where it's 1.6 ATA.
