    Default jb dives

Got in two solo dives at jb on friday and dove saturday with outlaw caver and SWADiver all during the day with the swimmers swimming. The new entry steps are nice but a lot of swimmers use them as well and watch the drop from the last step into the water. We placed a rock there as a supplemental step to help on entrance and exit. Friday wasn't bad, couple of hundred people and they were driven off by a thunderstorm. Saturday was sweltering and there seemed to be a thousand swimmers and us three the only cave divers, i now know what a goldfish feels like. Reminded me of the devils eye/ear on memorial day (well maybe not quite that bad Great to dive during the day but still a whole lot nicer when the swimmers are not there. Bill

I had 2 dives at Jackson Blue Wednesday, a solo dive and a dive with Edd. Flow was negligible if non-existant and the vis was excellent! They will be adding another step for us and some power for lights and dpv's. They will also be putting in tank stands like at Peacock.

Dived Peacock today, water level down and the flow too was negligible. My buddy and I headed to the Crypt. Vis was off and on until we went over Olson and it was then spectactular all the way to the Crypt. Somebody put a frog on the skeleton at the end of the line. LOL

Did you get the airconditioning fixed in your car. It was 97 at Peacock at 2PM?

It was a miracle, the air started to work when I started the car........the switch must of been stuck?? But what was really cool was that my buddies got me a XM Satellite Radio for my 50th Birthday, so I got to play with it for my 3 hour drive.

    Default JB dive

had a great time diving JB sat, despite the heat and the "watchers" (they were not so bad, much better than the crowds at ginnie on a summer weekend)
