Ah, there was another difference: they pump your tanks, even 3000 psi alu tanks, to 4000 psi! (I still remember my shock at Ginnie!)

Sorry, nobody overfills AL tanks anymore. There have been to many accidents

Good to know and glad I wasn't one of them!
That was in 1995 anyway.
