Maybe not, you could be the proud owner of a nice scooter for a great price.
E-bay scares me, sending money to somebody who may or may not send me the merchandise.
Although I did just buy a side mount harness from there, but it was a far cry from $1500.00

After seeing the post and not seeing any follow up. I went in and placed a bid, and "won" it.
This is the response that he sent.
Congratulation,
I will arrange shipping tomorrow , and once i do that i will email you the tracking number. You will be contacted by the shipping agency on how to arrange the payment. Also you will have 3 days for inspection and if you are not satisfied you can return it without any expense.
The unit will be shipped from FL, because i just moved here, relocated with my work.
I will get back to you once i arrange shipping.
Have a nice day.
I'll keep everyone posted as to the results and plan on getting some law enforcement friends of mine involved.
Safe diving,
Mark
Congratulations !
Hope everything turns out okay.

It *has* to be the same guy that was *selling* a scooter last year.
I hope you catch the jerk!
Sounds simple enough. Tell them COD; when the driver hands me a scooter, I'll hand him the cash.Originally Posted by divemark
COD will still get you smoked.
People buy boxes full of rocks all the time.
If cave diving were Star Wars, who would be Yoda?
Although it's "against company policy," our UPS driver lets us look inside a questionable shipment, provided we use a razor knife and are prepared to re-tape it exactly as it was.
I don't think COD will be an option here. The only "accepted payment arrangements" will be Western Union or some other money transfer. You CAN NOT get your money back on these, so money transfers should automatically throw up red flags in any business deal.
Well, it may all be a moot point. He still has not contacted me. I'll keep you posted.
