English Engineering Light

I've got an old English Engineering Primary light. I need to replace the 12 V Sealed Lead Acid batteries in it but the standard ones (you find for emergency exit lights) are just a tad to big. I'm guessing Lamar used a specific brand that made a slightly smaller version. Anybody have any suggestion where to pick up some replacement batteries?
