Some people go past the sign when it says not to for the same reason they shoot road signs. It's there.


A few good office pranks:

Take some Scotch tape, and place a small piece over the metal connectors for your mark's phone receiver, network cable, and perhaps mouse, then reinsert all the cables so that the tape is not visible.

Alternatively, disassemble their phone receiver, place a bit of tape over the speaker for the ear piece and reassemble. They'll think they're going deaf, and you'll know it's working when you hear them shouting into the phone.

We've done the static desktop image, that's a good one. A variant is to do the same thing, but use a Windows BSOD (blue screen of death) or similar image of a dour sounding error.

Also, if they leave it unlocked you can add yourself as a user, then log in remotely and cause all kinds of strange behaviors when they log back in.
