Cave Diving in North Carolina

Hey all,
Just wondering what kind of cave diving there is in North Carolina? Ive never heard much about it, but hopefully there is something there as there might be a future opportunity for me in NC that i couldnt pass up.

Well I live in Charlotte and cave diving for me is in NFL. I wish there was some diving like in Florida. But come join us we try to go down as often as we can.

Everyones running away from North Florida and it's insane to even consider moving to "Cave Country" The traffic is terrible, there's drugs, crime, hookers, drive-by shootings, gangs, West Nile virus,,,,even rooster fighting. That's just in Luraville. O'brien is worse!

There are barely any caves in NC. I'm not sure if any of those are divable. There are probably some flooded mines somewhere. And of course there's not anything out in the piedmont.

However there is abundant karst to West and Southwest in KY, TN, North GA, and AL.

Yep. I had to change it to Rooster. Those filters cut you no slack.....unless??? Cockfighting!! There we go. All one word is the correct form anyway.
As for staying at my place for a couple of weeks? Sure no problem but you'll have to hack out a place to sleep with a machete and saturate yourself with 100% DEET. My place is still all woods. No cabin yet but it is less than a mile from Little River so that's a plus.

As for the subject of cave diving in the Carolinas? I really never gave it much thought.
