They are usually pretty good about keeping the website up to date, and it states as of 2/9 that it's not open:

Actually, it just opened back up today (Monday). Vis is about 30 - 50 ft, a little less in the cavern. The crossunder seems to be siphoning a little. the river is still high and as it drops, the flow will pick up considerably. Currently (no pun intended), it's flow is up from what it's been recently. Nice diving.

    Default Dove it today (2-26-07)

Entered at Martz Sink, swam to the Courtyard just past the SPG cookie. Viz was 80'-100', flow is up a little and so is the water level.

Made a dive at Madison this morning. It is reasonably clear in the basin. Vis about 50-60ft but with a green tint. The bad water is coming from the Cross-Under Tunnel. I checked out the Godzilla Room circuit and it is nice and clear with some areas of intrusion of "cold low vis water" in the back portion of the circuit. Also, checked out the Century Tunnel and it is nice and clear. I then swam over to Martz Sink and it is all clear with a few small pockets of green colder water intruding. I then went back to the main line and swam upstream to the Half-Hitch. From Martz Sink tunnel to the Half-Hitch is 100+ vis. Current is not bad at all - actually it is down a bit due to the river being up from the recent rains.

Where is Godzillia BTW? I was in there yesterday and looked all around, all I saw was the frog.

It's bad luck to be superstitious.

I didn't see Godzilla either. I guess he's hiding. Only Mr Frog is hanging around in plain site.

Where do you get a map of this place? I have the small 8.5x11 sheet of paper, but would like a proper map. Asked around High Springs and Luraville this weekend, but couln't scare one up.

I've heard park\state ordered updated map and there is a team working on it. The map that i received from NSS online store was very limited, even crossunder tunnel wasn't on it. The best map i've seen is on the wall in the park ranger's cabin. Cave Divers Museum also has the good map of MB and other places but museum is just about to re-open after a hard time. Ask Tom or Cindy they might be able to help you.
