    Default Incident at Peacock?

Does anyone know what was going on at Peacock Friday? I was entering Orange Grove when I heard sirens. Then later that day I saw a fire truck up at P1 and someone said a helicopter had landed nearby to pick someone up. By the time I got up to P1 whatever happened all seemed to have blown over and it was business as usual. I guess everything was OK?

I did not work Friday but a very experienced diver did take a hit, was taken to Shands took one ride and released, he is fine and amused by all the rumors flying around.

Why that really does sound like business as usual.

    Thanks, Janet!

Always a good thing when one can walk away smiling.

Well that's great news. Not so much about taking a hit, but about the system working. Glad everything worked out. Still doesn't really explain the fire truck (it was a tank truck).

    Default Something to do...

The quote "Remember , it's Luraville !!! " probably meant that there was nothing (for the fire dept) to do, so "Let's roll!" Got them out of the fire house whether needed or not.

Actually, "What happens in Luraville, stays in Luraville"

I can see the rival t-shirts now "Got gas at Cave Ex*c*rsions" and "Got bent at Peacock Springs".

All joking aside. . . glad the diver is OK. How "nearby" is there a spot to land a helicopter to Peacock?
