Actually that's about all I use my Turtle Fins for now is sump dives because they fit over just about any pair of caving boots I've worn. The DiveRite fins won't (nor will the XXL Jetfins), although they work great with my drysuit booties.

The limiting factor usually appears to be the height of the foot pocket. By the time you allow for a thicker sole, all the material around the lacing etc... it won't fit. But then you probably have petite girly feet too.

You can make it work either way, it's just a PIA having to change your footwear multiple times in the cave. Simpler just to slide the fins off and clip them to your pack and go.

Marbry's right, and has done the research. I'm usually the last in line when we're caving, because I'm messing around with removing my boots, donning fins, and then replacing them with boots, 3 to 4 times on the SShell trip, etc. There are other light fins that will slide over a pair of hiking boots, as I've been trying them on to find a "shorter" length fin. Remember, in a sump, you're not really kicking much, but it is nice to move in open water. We don't move fast in the stream areas anyway, no matter. No one's in a real hurry, as it uses more energy. Keep looking Skip. Cornerstone has some that work, and then it's just getting springs....
