    Default Cave Country Status Report

Hi all, I regret to inform that some cave sites are going down Madison, Edwards, and Telford. Telford is still clear, but has tannin water in the cavern as of Sat. The big sites have not been affected Cow, Peacock and Ginnie. However, I'd bet that most other divable springs in the area are feeling the higher waters.

    Default Cave County Status Report

Here's the link to the River Levels, many areas are still rising as of today:

In my opinion, Telford is as good as it gets right now. As of yesterday, the first 25 feet of the entrance was tannic, but beyond that the water was clear as it could be with almost negligible flow. Hopefully the river won't rise much more than it is right now, and Telford can hold on to its ideal dive conditions for a while longer...

I was in Upper Orange grove tunnel on Saturday...A slight flow pushed me out without having to do much kicking!!! (vis was still very good).
And did Ginnie today (Sunday). Kicking flow as usual.

P.S. I heard from a couple of people today that Little River (they dove it on Saturday) was still low flow and great vis !!!

    Default Cave conditions

Peacock I- both tunnels- good on Sunday.

Vis was down a bit in the Olson Tunnel for the first 100' and then cleared up- the Peanut side was as usual.

There is water slightly covering the rock between PI and PII for the first time in a long while and water level in PI basin is up to the point that it touches the bottom of the platform.
