Thanks guys, but God didn't decide it was my time for disaster.
Here is an image to help you understand just how close it was...
The red is obviously the "path" of the tornado (estimated F3). The green circle is where a radio tower built for 200mph winds, used to stand. The green arrow is my house. It was close enough for me...

Note to all readers:
We need to all do a little something to help those that have lost everything. Imagine it....20 seconds from now everything you owned including your house is splintered and scattered over a 1/2 mi. area; and it's not like you can pick it up and reuse it. Most stuff becomes unusable. Clothes are shredded.
That would shake you tree!
Please answer the call for donations, blankets, blood, etc. Give away the extra clothes and stuff laying around the house to Goodwill. So that what goes around can come around someday. 8)
Thanks for the caring thoughts! I'm glad to hear Joe T. is OK.
Ray E. had a very close call. His apartment complex was hit, although he still has a roof, and both of his vehicles (his and his wife’s) had trees fall on them. His is totally out of commission, but his wife’s is in a little better shape. Now they have to deal with getting them fixed. Things could have been a lot worse. I teased him about our last dive trip, when he had me move branches, so his SUV wouldn't get scratched.
We all have to yield to Mother Nature. I feel bad for everyone who was affected by this tragedy. It all resulted from one super cell, which spawned 3 tornados. Some really nasty damage and lots of lives lost in a short amount of time.
PS: Andrew ... I tried PMing you, but I got an error message (e-mail sent)!
