I thought the original poster was looking for a free set of doubles... Just leave the remains...

Sorry, bad taste, but it's what came to mind.

Hey, I never said anything about recovering or retrieving, just searching and finding. Resolving a mystery.

Mark you can stick the doubles where the sun don't shine, I don't use 'em.

My thought is this - Deep in the bottom of a cave is the perfect place for one of us to be buried anyway.. I bet (suicide or not) he would prefer to stay where he is now.

    Default perhaps leave something?

actually, no one at all mentioned removing anything, but there seems to be a "body recovery" implied - more just wondering why anyone would want the body recovered after all this time.

I don't know if blue hole #4 is visited often, depths seem within trimix range. It might be nice to dive it and leave a momento. perhaps turning it into a shrine to honor one of the early cave divers? a plaque maybe? some plastic flowers?

well, maybe best to just leave it as is.

I think Angie brought it up for some reason out of the blue, I would never even consider it. Just to find the resting place was my idea, and an excuse to go exploring!!

If anybody does do the search, I hope it isn't mentioned on this board!!!

I've been there, And dove it.
I couldn't think of a better resting place for a cave diver.

Noted, on the search and intent. Didn't realize you'd gone over to the dark side of breathers..... I've never tried butt mounting doubles...

I've got a family, and have explicit instructions on where I'm to be buried if I should end up a statistic. The instructions have options depending on the circumstances of my demise. If I were single, an ocean cave would probably be one of the most peaceful ways to go, I'd probably do a self induced O2 hit at 300+ ft deep, wow. Don't worry, I'm not gonna off myself - just thinking, if I had four days to live...... I'd probably go cave diving, with or without the intent to not come back.

    Mark
