    Default Peacock Camping

I'm obviously new to the board. so excuse me if this has been asked dozens of times already.

Does anyone have any suggestions for primitive camping near Peacock?

    Thanks

River Rendezvous is the only place I know of. I've never stayed there so I can't vouch for it either way. Here's their link. http://www.therendezvous.org/
I've spent enough of my life sleeping on the ground so now I always just rent one of Rennaker's trailers. Nice and comfy for my tired old bones.

    Default How primitive?

You could also camp at Telford but you take the chance of RedNeck stealing you tent while you are gone.

Thanks for the input folks! I camped last week at the Hart Springs thing and rather enjoyed rolling out of the tent and into the activities. (even though changing out a water pump on a friends truck worked its way into the itinerary.)
