    Default "Dive In" report

The Dive In is going very well. Lots of well known divers are there today. We are having a great time.

Had a long day (day run from Atlanta), but a great dive! My first dive at Hart was awesome! We went upstream about 1100 feet, then downstream a short distance. Mike Poucher guided us, and pointed out the a rib? bone, and a sharks tooth.

    Default Things to see downstream

Looks like you saw more than Mike McAuliffe and I did when Cindy took us downstream - she was trying to point out a shark's tooth but Mike was looking for petrified croc droppings and I was looking for something that resembled a ball.

I think we will need to work on our hand signals a little more before our next downtream outing...

Richard, how did I miss you? Or did I talk to you without realizing it?

They were only there for a short time, and didn't hang aroung the campground very much.

Welll....I didn't actually pay to get in. Just showed up, did my guide deal and ran. Kind of a "sneak a dive in!". Cindy

    Default Great time

I really enjoyed this event and the dinner Saturday night was yummy.
Good to meet folks face to face

Here is a picture of the hall at Hart. This was a great place to hold the event and I hear that by next year there are going to be hot showers in the lower camping area.

Default Can't wait till the next one

Hart is incredible! I want to thank the guides for taking me on two great dives in such a pristine system. The rebreather clinic was extremely informative and presented very well in concert by three different folks. I missed the sidemount clinic but I'm sure I made up for it with all the questions I asked of Lamar and Jerry ... These guys sure are patient The overall atmosphere there was relaxed and information was freely exchanged which was nice. I would also like to thank all the folks that handled the logistics for both this event as well those that got Hart opened again .... much appreciated!
