    Come on Richard,
As soon as I was done at the hospital I bought some condoms at a truck stop and was looking for my buddy. All the condoms I already had have a hole in the end. (I told my girlfriend that these were the new "XM1 Inpregnator Nozzle Jets. She ran away.)

Ok, Alan....that's just a little TOO MUCH personal information! What would your girlfriend think?!

Any other source suggestions? Chuck Noe is out of stock

Contact Chuck Noe, http://www.cnsales.net/gulftexproductshome.htm He is running a special through the end of this month of $15 a piece which includes shipping and a buck or so from each plug sold is being donated to the various cave diving agencies.

He won't be out of stock for long. Obviously his special yielded better results than anticipated. There was some guy on TDS going by the handle GoatBoy I think that was discussing setting up to make some. I think that is what created a bit of a selling war and prompted Chuck's sale. I would wait for Chuck to restock myself.

Sorry for the dumb question here, but you mention the SS plugs preventing escaping gas if valve gets cracked. I'm assuming you are tightening them with a wrench each time you put them in??? If they are finger tight, that wouldn't be tight enough would it?

    Thanks.

No, I do not tighten them with a wrench each time. Yes, finger tight is enough for it to seal. You will, however, need a wrench to get the plug OUT if the valve happens to be opened with the plug firmly installed. I initially thought that finger tight wouldn't be sufficient...but after a couple tests, it was.

Finger tight putting them on is fine. But if you open the valve with them installed (fingertight), you will need a wrench to get them off.

Default I witnessed a similar incident In TAG Last year

A member of this forum was moving a set of doubles out of the back of the truck and cracked a valve on. It scared the hell out of me and I was standing a few feet away. It really startled the guy moving the tanks at the time. Needless to say no more delrin plugs.
