    Default eagles nest litter

i don't normally post here but after 22 years of diving eagles nest i thought i'd seen it all when it comes to litter. in the early days we used to pick up beer cans & bottles left there by( i suspect) hunters from the hernando sportsmans club. these are probably the same people who would kick us out of there & even let the air out of our vehicles tires once. this past summer i cleaned up the remains of a fire complete with broken beer bottles left right in between the parking area & the short path to the water. but yesterday tops anything i've seen yet. to park my truck i had to manuver between 2 fresh piles of human feces, complete with toilet paper! one obviously had been "dropped" by some one sitting on one of the picnic tables, as it was directly under the seat of the westernmost table. luckily there was a half charred plank of wood that made a nice shovel for disposing of this most disguisting litter. right before i arrived there i had passed a blue pick up coming from the nest with 3 young males in it. i thought they were divers but the dock was dry so i know they had not been diving. had i been a few minutes earlier i might have caught these s---heads in action.

Default Sh!thead so to speak is right

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to stop A$$ holes from using the place as a toilet unless the NSS-CDS or NACD wants to pay for a compost outhouse (if that is even legal) I can't see using a portolet out there. If we try to restrict access we run the risk of cutting off our own noses to spite our face. I guess the only thing we can do is try to educate the folks we run into out there by being nice and talking to them.

Just amazed that these guys knew how to use toilet paper and sense enough to bring some along. Probably napkins from Hardees.

A lot of places in the Ocala National Forest are Pooped and papered to the point of looking like a mass Halloween prank. DIG A HOLE PEOPLE!!!
Perhaps installing fiberglass dust impregnated toilet paper inside dispensers and mounted on the trees would discourage them from ever returning. This will also make it easy to spot the guilty party as they will be doing a dance similiar to this

The ultimate result of shielding men from the effects of folly is to fill the world with fools.

At least they didn't crap on the tabletops or the seats or the dock and leave a smelly mess to clean up and disinfect.

I learn something new every day! It never occurred to me to just sit down at a picnic table to take a crap.....

    Were his buddies watching too?

Just goes to the IN basket of the my internal minds' conviction that as a species, people are dirty animals. Just like manatees. We eat and crap in our own waterholes. We establish no 'ring of repugnance'. It's all we can do just to keep ourselves tidy and that doesn't come naturally. Ewwwwwww!!!....

Many thanks to the guy that cleaned up that mess. You deserve a medal!

Angie, they were probably placing bets. You know timing the event. Cheering them on. This sort of thing.

Speedcrapping. I don't expect to see it in the olympics anytime soon, but who knows, after every civilization on earth has been destroyed, it may become popular.

Perhaps we need to get us one of these signs :
